Teaching & Mentorship
A personal way
into the music.
Thoughtful study. Technical freedom. The confidence to communicate.

Listening comes first.
Learning the piano involves more than getting the notes right. It is a process of listening closely, understanding the score and finding the freedom to express an idea.
Teaching is another expression of the same purpose. Working with children, teenagers and adults, Alexandros begins by asking what brings each person to the instrument. Technical work, knowledge of the score and performance preparation grow from that individual starting point. He wants students to develop the confidence to make musical decisions of their own—and the curiosity to keep questioning them.
His experience as a performer informs practical work on preparation, stage presence and the anxiety that can accompany playing for others. Lessons bring together listening, technique, music theory and interpretation, with room for both clear goals and discovery.
Lessons in practice
Lessons are offered in Boston and online, for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to experienced pianists. Work can include reading, technique, interpretation and preparation for performances or auditions. To inquire, share your musical background, goals, preferred format and availability. Alexandros will reply to discuss a suitable approach and possible lesson arrangements.
